Summary:
The GPR survey was conducted over a proposed area at Mayor's Bungalow in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The purpose of the survey was to map all underground utilities including electricity cables, gas pipes, metal ducts, water pipes, sewerage lines, etc. to prevent the same during the future construction work. The expected depth of penetration during the survey is up to 6 m.
Considering the client's requirements and the expected depth of the utilities, the area has been surveyed using 400 MHz, 200 MHz and 100 MHz mono-static centre frequency antennas mounted with SIR 4000 GPR systems to cover the depth up to 6 m with a fair resolution.
