GSSI SIR 4000 equipped with 400 MHz and 900 MHz center frequency antennas.
Summary:
The GPR survey has been carried out along the two road stretches in and around Sahranpur city in the month of December. In total, 5 km of the road has been surveyed in two stretches of 2.5 km each. The scope of work includes the mapping of road profile and detecting the voids and other discrepancies using non-destructive Ground Penetrating Radar technology. The purpose of the project is to detect voids and discrepancies, as those might be the reason for visible surface cracks in the newly constructed road and hence ensure quality.
The survey has been executed using 400 MHz and 900 MHz center frequency antennas mounted with GSSI SIR 4000 GPR systems.
