Underground Void and Settlement Mapping at Thiruvananthapuram for pavement monitoring for L&T

GPR Investigation to map underground Void and Settlement up to depth of 5m.

At Different 07 patches at Agra-Lucknow Highway.

Summary:
The GPR survey has been carried out at 7 different proposed locations with one location being in both LHS and RHS and the other locations being in RHS only at Trivandrum-Kanyakumari Highway, Kerala in the month of January 2024 in Kerala. The purpose of the survey is to detect the underground settlement and other discrepancies up to the required depth of 6m, as those might be the reason for the visible cracks at some locations on the
road.
The survey has been executed using 400 MHz and 200 MHz center frequency antennas mounted with GSSI SIR 4000 GPR systems. Data was collected along and across the length of the pavement at effective spacing of 2m.
